إحتفل نادي Hype الرياضي بالذكرى الـ١٦ لإفتتاحه في 21 من شهر نيسان الجاري بحضور حشد كبير من أصحاب المؤسسات والشركات وفعاليات الجالية وعائلات HYPE؛ وقد تجاوز عدد الضيوف الـ800 شخص.
وابتدأ الحفل بالنشيد الوطني بصوت ريان خانجي. وعرَّف الحفل كل من المدير المالي لشركة HYPE، مهى الصّباغ والمدير بلال أمين.
بعد ذلك، قدم رئيس مجلس الألعاب الرياضية في HYPE، عمدة ديربورن، دان باليتكو. وبعد ذلك تحدث مدير مدارس ديربورن العامة، الدكتور غلين ماليكو وأعرب عن رغبتهم أي في مدارس ديربورن، بالتعاون مع نادي HYPE الذي نجح ببناء علاقات محلية وعلى صعيد الولاية والهيئات الحكومية. كما تحدث الرئيس التنفيذي في مقاطعة وين، السيد وورن إيفانز وأشاد بنادي HYPE.
ثم عُرّف عن عبدالله حمود الذي ولد وترعرع وتعلم في مدينة ديربورن وفِي الوقت الحالي يقضي فترة ولايته الأولى التي تمثل منطقة مجلس النواب ال15 والتي تضم معظم مدينة ديربورن وبدوره عرّف حمود عن السناتور ديفيد كنيزيك والذي ولد وترعرع في مدينة ديربورن هايتس بولاية ميشيغن.
وأخيرا، الدكتور نيترو ونيترو سكواد عرض كيفية صنع البوظة من نيتروجين. وقد اختتم الاحتفال بفقرة فكاهية مع الكوميدي عامر زهر. وقد تم جمع التبرعات وسيقيم النادي افتتاح حوض سباحة داخلي وخارجي ابتداء من هذا الصيف.
This year, HYPE Annual 16th Anniversary dinner on Friday April 21 had over 800+ guests in attendance. The guests included corporate, public, community leaders and H.Y.P.E. families. The program started out with a beautiful rendition of our national Anthem by Reyan Khangi.
HYPE’s CFO, Maha Sabbagh and Director of Operations Bilal Amen introduced the MC of the event, Lynne.
Mr. Moe Sabbagh, the HYPE Athletics Board Chairman, introduced the Mayor of Dearborn, Mayor Dan Paletko. After the mayor, Dearborn Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Glenn Maleko spoke about their love for working with HYPE.
Hype has been blessed to have established many relationships with Local, state, federal bodies of government. Wayne County CEO Warren Evans was also introduced and spoke highly of HYPE.
Next, State Rep. Abdullah Hammoud was introduced, who is serving his first term representing the 15th House District, which comprises most of the city of Dearborn.
Hammoud was born and raised in Dearborn. He is the son of immigrant parents and a product of Dearborn Public Schools.Hammoud then introduced, Senator David Knezek. David Knezek was born and raised in Dearborn Heights, Michigan. A lifelong resident of our great state, David has made a point of serving his community, state, and country in various capacities since he was 12 years old.
Finally, The Keynote Speaker Mr. Kellen Winslow Sr. NFL hall of famer, came to the stage and shared with us admiration and support for organizations such as HYPE.
Finally, Dr. Nitro and the Nitro Squad showed us how to make ice cream from nitrogen. The evening ended on a funny note, with comedian Amer Zahr and his “boater” jokes. He led the miracle minute, in which HYPE’s youth board walked around the dinner collecting donations for HYPE’s new project. HYPE’s new project is building an indoor and outdoor pool starting this summer.
It was a beautiful night for a beautiful organization.
